Quick Tip: Green Halloween- Homemade Costume Ideas
Thinking about Halloween costumes for this year? Rather than going to a Halloween speciality store and spending $40 on a costume worn once, try renting from a theatrical or costume shop.
Feeling extra creative? Recycle some clothes in the closet you’re saving to wear ‘some day’. Convert an old shirt or bedsheets to a cape, layer clothes to dress up a’ la hobo chic as Ashley or Mary-Kate Olsen or use old formal wear to go as a classy or train-wrecked celeb.
*And before Halloween comes, Let’s cheer on the Phillies – World Series! Whoo!

Great idea. I’m thinking of recycling some of my old clothes for my costume this year. I’ve got plenty of old stuff hanging around:)
Try hitting some yard sales and flea markets. Way cool stuff to be found: hats, wraps, shoes, belts, accessories, take it apart, pin it together, make something new out of what you find.
