Tea Made Greener
As I’m touring in Japan & drinking ample green tea, I thought this post on one of our favorite beverages appropriate…
Are you a daily tea drinker? Switch to loose tea in a reusable tea ball or through a strainer so you don’t waste the bag, string or tag. Loose tea is the most enviro-friendly option, especially if you buy in bulk.

Any tips for coffee drinkers?
Hi Nic,
The obvious but simple: use your own reusable mug instead of to-go cups from coffee chains. Americans drink 4 million cups of coffee per day (that can add up to a lot of cups!)
Another quick tip is to try and buy fair trade java. (Starbucks is actually the largest North American purchaser of Fair Trade coffee.)
Thanks for the question!
