Northern Liberties Green & Coolest 'Hood in Philadelphia!Beth & I officially live in the coolest neighborhood in Philly.

Northern Liberties (so hot right now!) is featured in National Geographic Traveler.

What’s cooler (and GPB-approp) is the number of green ‘sites’ on the interactive map such as:

  • Arcadia Boutique- My favorite store with eco-friendly threads! (I wish it were my secret, but it’s too cool not to share)
  • Standard Tap – (What’s not to love about local brews?!?)
  • Piazza @ Schmidts – When you’re not staring at the 26×16 foot TV screen, check out Bambi Gallery‘s recycled skateboards by Victor Navez
  • Liberty Lands – Loaded with plants, flowers, pups, people, & fun!

Who’s going to argue that anywhere  in Philly  is hipper right now – when Liberties Walk, Honey’s, North 3rd, North Bowl, Silk City, and so much more are in this ‘hood?

Proud to live in Nothern Liberties! Did you know it was also voted Best of Philly 2009 City Blocks. Now, the question is – who has the greenest apt in Nothern Liberties?

Club 2-4-1. Actually, we’ll have to do some research on that one, Nic and get back to you!

Thanks so much for this info. I’m relocating to Philly and looking for cool neighborhoods in which to live. I love the Bohemian nature of Northern Liberties and will definitely check it out when I get down there!
