Warm weather’s outside, Spring’s in the air… which means insect season will soon be in full swing.  Although insects & bugs are garden1 header 300x165 Enter to Win FREE EcoSmart Natural Bug Killerhappy outside, they can be pests in the home or outside a BBQ/picnic.

Rather than using dangerous sprays or traps, EcoSMART offers organic pesticide & insect repellents.  Made from essential oils, they’re non-toxic – making them kid & pet-friendly.

This may seem like an oxymoron- How can you have a safe and non-toxic pesticide?

  • Highly Targeted to only Insects – The products have a unique mode of action that targets systems which exist in insects only – but active ingredients are harmless to mammals, birds and fish.
  • NO Toxic Residue – the products leave no toxic residue and pose no exposure risk – won’t pollute ground water sources
  • 100% safe, All-Natural Ingredients – All ingredients are either food grade and listed on the FDA GRAS (“Generally Regarded as Safe”) list, or commonly used in the food and beverage industry.

Need to safeguard your family when outside? This all natural insect repellent is an all-natural formula made from organic plant oils, repelling mosquitoes, ticks, gnats and other pests for hours.

In previous years, we’ve had pest ‘plagues’ of the household – whether the 1000-leggers, ants or bees in the kitchen or attic.  EcoSMART sells products such as natural ant killers to take care of insect problems in the house.

So I guess it IS officially that time of the year! While I absolutely welcome the warm weather, I unfortunately pulled the first tick of the season off of my yellow lab yesterday…

I would LOVE to find a natural/safe way to keep the yard free of ticks! Every time we treat the yard, poor Hanna has to sit and stare out the window for days because we can’t let her on it. :( I’m really glad to hear that there’s another alternative – thanks for the tip!

    This stuff looks really awesome!

My dad could really use this stuff! Every year around this time he starts his gardening/house pruning, and never uses bug spray because he doesn’t want to use anything toxic where our dogs may get into. However, he’s deathly allergic to bees and has several major scares over the past few years. He would definitely benefit from this and I’ll be sure to pick some up for him. Thanks!!

  4. Jared says:

I need this because my girlfriend won’t touch me if I have nasty bug bites!

  5. Nic G says:

if i win this i’ll share it with my sister who gets the worst bug bites ever
    thanks!

I love supporting ecofriendly brands! What a cool giveaway. I want to stay bug-bite free and be eco-conscious – this product would be perfect for me.

  7. Clay says:

My cat LeRoy insists on going out to our back yard and in again at least 35 times a day. So when the weathers nice, and I can’t be around I just leave the door open so he can come and go as he pleases. There is no happier time in LeRoys life than when the door is left ajar on a beautiful summer day, so this ends up happening all too frequently. The unfortunate side affect of this spoiled cat is that I get bugs in my house. There is nothing quite like trying to nap through a mosquito attack so as long as this stuff is friendly for indoor use, i desperately need a bottle.

I would love to win this product to give as a gift to a good friend of mine who is going to be spending 2 months in east Africa building a school and orphanage for children there. He has to sleep in cottages with nets over beds and bugs are awful there. This would come in handy for him for sure while he is doing good for the kids in Africa.
