Planet Earth Live @ the Mann Center 7/29!
Can’t get enough of Planet Earth?
The Mann Center is featuring Planet Earth Live on Thursday, July 29th at 8:30 PM with a background of the Philadelphia Orchestra. Beautiful, hi-def images from the hit BBC documentary series, Planet Earth, along with the sweeping majestic original Emmy award winning score will be the finale to The Philadelphia Orchestra’s annual summer season.
You’ll see & explore everything from the Himalaya mountains, the Arctic tundra, deep caves and flowering jungle – with every sunrise, dust cloud and ocean waves. Into some animal scenes? Hang out with elephants, polar bears (and two cubs), dolphins and snow leopards.
Planet Earth composer George Fenton himself leads the Orchestra – It’s a show you can bring the whole family to! (I’m def psyched to see it.)
The Mann has some eco-bonuses for concert-goers: Go green to the concert by taking The Mann’s Center City Loop Bus available through SEPTA or ride your bicycle to the event & use new secure bike racks. The first 1,000 patrons who text* message “EARTH” to 89887 on the
evening of the performance will receive seedlings for their own yard.
Don’t miss out! Get tickets from the Mann, Ticket Philadelphia or Ticketmaster – range from $10 for Lawn up to $35-$55.
