The schoolbus is going round and round… which means for a lot of us, more traffic on the roads.
But for that special breed of the population responsible for the development of our future leaders, it means time for to educate our youth.
While we gave some tips for Teacher Appreciation Week, it’s time to remind teachers to try to remember eco-friendly themes in the classroom. After all, you’re the ones molding our children and can help them be environmentally-conscious individuals!

Well Kevin, although the Delaware may be toxic, it definitely won’t help Philadelphia get greener this year. Actually, disposing a laptop in a river OR landfill are both terrible options – it’s just as outdated as your AOL email address. But here’s some green tips to recycle your laptop:
One of my biggest frustrations is when I (rarely) walk over to the work printer (unfortunately, you sometimes need to print) and see a pile of pages no one bothered to pick up. Especially when it’s a private email or reminder you know doesn’t need to waste a tree’s life. I call this disorder WPS, or Wasteless Printing Syndrome.
WWF format is an attempt at the WPS solution, since the recipient CAN’T physically print the page. You can easily visit the (find out where, after the jump!)
Carpools are catching on quite rapidly due to inflated gas prices. Make sure to reach out to others when driving to work, school, and vacations. You’ll save gas, reduce your carbon footprint, and have a buddy to ease any road rage or traffic pains.
Rather than use your company’s disposable coffee cups, plates and utensils, bring in a reusable glass or plastic dishware set from home. You’ll save plastic from being thrown away, use nicer platewares and avoid being the person stuck without a knife! You could even use your own dishware when your company gives out free food in lieu of plastic & paper [...]
