Earth Day Volunteer Clean-Up

Volunteers wanted! There’s no better way to spend Earth Day, than helping our community thrive! Every year on Earth Day, Greensgrow joins forces with neighborhood organizations and our sponsor Subaru to beautify our neighborhoods, from parks to senior centers, and neglected street corners and we need your help. Get your hands dirty on our clean up day!

This year we will be joining Kingsessing Recreation Center, located near Greensgrow West, in beautifying their property. We’ll be cleaning up the area, as well as revitalizing garden beds, and turning a concrete patio into a lush, green space with a container garden for everyone to sit and enjoy. Each year Subaru donates plants from their display at the PHS Philadelphia Flower Show so we can plant them out in the community for everyone to enjoy.

We’ll treat volunteers to lunch provided generously by sweetgreen.
