Fairmount Neighborhood Cleanup

Join the Fairmount Civic Association for our third annual Spring Cleanup, in conjunction with the Philly Spring Cleanup. Volunteers will recieve supplies such as gloves, trash bags, and rakes. We will also have FREE museum passes to Eastern State Penitentiary and tickets for the 76ers! Even if you don’t live in Fairmount you can help—cleaning up one area prevents trash from going to others, especially with the Schuylkil River here. We will provide refreshments to keep you hydrated and fed and will raffle off 4 $25 gift certificates to Urban Saloon, who will host us after the cleanup with free veggie/hummus trays. We will also pickup any recyclables and dispose of them appropriately . The fall cleanup resulted in 110 large bags of trash and recycling  so we’re aiming to do more!
