FDR Park Music Jam FREE Festival

Get away from the crowds on the parkway this weekend and head down Broad Street instead for a free outdoor festival with a laid back environment and phenomenal live music. On Saturday 9/3 and Sunday 9/4, in association with Philadelphia Songwriters Project, Parks on Tap is hosting “FDR Park Music Jam,” a two-day, local music festival at FDR Park, right next to the stadiums. The festival features a list of locally acclaimed songwriters, artists and bands from 3 to 9 p.m. Saturday and Sunday. In addition, South Philly recording artist, Felicia, will be performing an opening set at 2 p.m. both days.  Here is the full lineup:

Saturday, September 3

  • 3:00 Adam Web – known for his “optimistic acoustifunk”

  • 4:00 Bernard/BJ Sarkissian Music – plays original, recovery-based music in a method to connect with patient populations

  • 5:00 Ryan Tennis – has opened for Grammy Winners Kenny Loggins & Shawn Colvin. Also performed at the Philadelphia Folk Festival

  • 6:00 Ginger Coyle – singing since she was 14 with conscious lyrics and soulful pop melodies over acoustic guitar and driving piano
