Juneberry Joy at Clark Park and Its Surrounds

June 8, 2017 @ 3:00 pm - 5:00 pm

Harvest, taste, and learn to love the delicious, native Amelanchier just as much as we do! Commonly referred to as the Juneberry, Serviceberry, Shadbush, Saskatoon, and more, Amelanchier berries taste like a blueberry-cherry with edible almond seeds, and they’re planted ALL over Philly as landscape plants, street trees, and in POP’s community orchards. We’re hosting harvests, local food and beverage industry features, and incorporating juneberry time into our Annual Strawberry Festival! Bring your own harvest bag and bucket.

Call 713-443-9103 or 267-346-4105 if you arrive late and can’t find us
