Philadelphia Energy Vision Listening Session

As part of the update to Greenworks, Philadelphia’s sustainability plan, the Office of Sustainability (OOS) set a long-term vision for a city where all Philadelphians efficiently use clean energy that they can afford. To move us toward this future, OOS been working with issue experts and stakeholders to develop a comprehensive citywide energy vision (actions the city and others can undertake to move Philadelphia toward a clean, affordable, and healthy energy future) and a municipal energy master plan (strategies and investments local government can make to reduce energy costs and usage in its own buildings, as well as promote renewable energy).
This listening session will inform the citywide energy vision by helping us learn your priorities for Philadelphia’s energy future. OOS staff will be available to hear your thoughts and concerns and share some initial findings from research on opportunities to move Philadelphia toward a more sustainable energy future. OOS will also be holding a feedback session in June to summarize findings from the listening session and provide an update on the vision process.
