United by Blue’s FDR Park Cleanup

Join United by Blue,   Philadelphia Water Department,  Philadelphia Parks and Recreation, and   honeygrow  for our kick-off waterway cleanup of 2018 at FDR Park!

FDR park is a recreation gem in South Philadelphia. With its sprawling green space, baseball fields and skate park, there is something for everyone at FDR! Many lakes make up the landscape of the park, providing water recreation opportunities and wetland ecosystems for the abundant wildlife that call the park home. Unfortunately, trash makes its way along the banks of the lakes, and surrounding areas from the bustling urban environment surrounding the park, negatively impacting the nature and wildlife.   Please help us to welcome the spring season and preserve this ecoystem by cleaning up the Lakes at FDR Park!

United by Blue will provide all cleaning supplies, and snacks will be provided by our friends at honeygrow!
