Walk the Wissahickon

Walk the Wissahickon offers people a chance to experience the beautiful Green Ribbon Trail, a 21-mile trail that follows the Wissahickon Creek from North Wales and eventually connects with Fairmount Park’s Forbidden Drive.

Participants can choose the length and pace of their walk from 5, 8, 13, or 21 miles. All of the walks are guided and people are bussed back to the starting point.

A PICNIC LUNCH is provided at the 8-mile stop at WVWA’s headquarters in Ambler.

All hikes begin at Upper Gwynedd Township Park, 1 Parkside Place, North Wales, PA 19454
