Who’s Afraid of Virginia Woolf? by Edward Albee

April 16, 2015 @ 7:00 pm - 10:00 pm

$10 – $40

Marital strife has never been so wickedly fun — or dysfunctional. Theatre Exile presents Edward Albee’s Who’s Afraid of Virginia Woolf? from April 16-May 17 at Plays and Players Theater (1714 Delancey Place). After a faculty get-together, George and Martha invite their younger counterparts, Nick and Honey, over for a night-cap that spirals into an evening of wicked psychological games. Pearce Bunting (Boardwalk Empire), Catharine Slusar, Emilie Krause and Jake Blouch take the stage in Edward Albee’s cultural landmark that has been riveting audiences for over 50 years and ruthlessly tears down the façade of the American family. Who’s Afraid of Virginia Woolf? is directed by Joe Canuso and supported by Executive Producers The Wyncote Foundation. Show times vary by day. Tickets are $10-40 and available by calling (215) 218-4022 and visiting www.theatreexile.org.
