While SXSW is the holy grail of conferences, the offshoot of SXSW Eco is sure to be the place to be in October.

According to the website, SXSW Eco “creates a space for business leaders, policy makers, innovators and designers to advance solutions that drive social, economic and environmental change.”

What will you learn at this sxsw eco?

2015 boasted speakers from the US Department of Energy, Apple, Google, Knight Foundation, National Resource Defense Council and Chipotle. (The 2014 conference included a recycling panel with former Philadelphia Recycling Director Phil Bresee) The conference is October 10-12th at the Austin Convention Center. You can see the current sessions online ranging from corporate responsibility, energy, startups and  communications – more sessions will be revealed soon. 2016 keynotes include Billy Nye and Cradle to Cradle author William McDonough. Other speakers from REI, Google, Huffington post and more are sure to wow.
