You can now get Instant SEPTA Delay Updates through ReadyPhiladelphia

Let’s face it: SEPTA delays can really mess up your day. Or at least, screw up your plans for being on time.

The Philadelphia Office of Emergency Management’s ReadyPhiladelphia alert system, which tells you about Refinery dangers too, now has stepped up its game to travel alerts.

How does it work? You can sign up for alerts on the website and get them via text, email or App push notifications. Choose whether you want the info 24-hours a day, or 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. weekdays and weekends.

available SEPTA alerts through ReadyPhiladelphia:

• Regional Rail
• Market-Frankford Line
• Broad Street Line
• City & Suburban Trolley Lines
• Norristown High Speed Line
• City & Suburban Bus Routes

how To sign up for SEPTA alerts:

  • Login to your Everbridge account.
  • Click “Edit” next to “My Alert Subscriptions”.
  • Choose the “SEPTA Transportation Alerts” option.
  • Choose what transit routes you want to be notified about.
  • Click the blue “Save” button at the bottom of the screen.

There’s an App for that:
