Ready to kick off another great week of events?

Philly has plenty to do for people of all ages, from kid and teen nature adventures to adult-friendly outdoor yoga and beer tasting!

• Chillin’ with Nature: Kids 8-12 years old will spend the afternoon exploring nature at the Pennypack Center as part of the Junior Naturalist Program. There will be walking tours, crafts, games, snacks, and even ice cream making! • Cloth Diapering 101 Class: New parents (or parents-to-be), are you considering cloth diapers? (You should, considering how many diapers those little tykes go through.) This Wednesday, Cloth is hosting a 101 to discuss the different types of cloth diaper systems, benefits, costs and how to wash. • Outdoor Yoga @ the Philadelphia Museum of Art: Bring your own mat and join in on the Philadelphia Museum of Art’s outdoor yoga classes this summer! Wednesday July 23^rd, 6 – 7 PM, 2600 Benjamin Franklin Parkway, Free After Admission.
• Local Craft Beer Tasting @ Philadelphia Museum of Art: Enjoy a sampling of locally-made craft beers and snacks at the Philadelphia Museum of Art. Hosted in the Museum’s Great Hall “Beer Garden” the evening will spotlight Philly’s finest Brew Masters. Wednesday July 23^rd, 6 – 8:30 PM, 2600 Benjamin Franklin Parkway, $25 non-members and $22 members, Register.
• Moth Night at the Woodlands: Spend the evening learning about Philly’s moths in our urban ecosystem. Bring a picnic and flashlight and be ready for crafts and games! Thursday July 24^th, 6 – 9 PM, 4000 Woodland Ave., Free.
• Pennypack Teen Adventures – Kayaking on the Delaware River: Teens ages 13 and up can enjoy a day-long adventure of a 5-mile kayak tour of the Delaware River. Along the way campers will learn to spot native birds and wildlife. Equipment will be provided, but don’t forget to bring your lunch! Linh studies Architectural Technologies at Philadelphia University and spent a previous semester studying Sustainability in Copenhagen, Denmark. These experiences home and abroad inspired her to take a closer look at her personal impact on the environment and ways to lessen it.
