Green Innovators wanted for Greenfest Philly 2014!

Are you a member of a sustainable business? Or, do you know any businesses and organizations with new, creative, green products, services, or ideas?

Clean Air Council & SCA are accepting nominations for this years Green Innovators Program.

The Green Innovators Program began as a foundation for Philly’s sustainable projects and programs since 2011. Promoting interaction between these businesses and thousands of potential customers at Greenfest provides nominees a chance to grow and compete with some of the biggest names in sustainability.

Past Green Innovators include TerraCycle, Wash Cycle Laundry, Common Market, Philadelphia Seed Exchange, Sustainable 19125 and Philly Cow Share.

 

Want to Nominate your Sustainable (or another) business?

What makes you innovative and green? Nominate a friend or apply to be Philly’s next Green Innovator.

This is your chance to interact with hundreds of Greenfest Philly participants and promote your business! Attendees will vote for their favorites at the festival and online (hopefully for you!)

All participants receive:

  • FREE, Prime exhibition space
  • Social Media promotion
  • Clean Air Council’s newsletter feature
  • Greenfest Philly’s website shoutout & Press Releases

Just make sure to get your nominations by August 25, 2014.The winner will be announced at the end of Greenfest after all the votes are counted.

Greenfest Philly: The Event:

Greenfest Philly is an annual celebration of sustainable businesses with activities, organic food and drinks (beer garden, anyone?), live music, and handmade goods in Headhouse Square on Sept. 7, 2014 from 10 a.m.-4 p.m..

Greenfest’s overall message promotes sustainable living which the Green Innovators Program attempts to achieve.

According to Joseph Otis Minott, Esq., Executive Director of the Clean Air Council.:

The Green Innovator Program has become a highlight of Greenfest Philly.  Over the past three years, 22 local emerging sustainable businesses and organizations have participated. Thousands of Greenfest Philly attendees are able to engage with and learn from these businesses and organizations.

Linh studies Architectural Technologies at Philadelphia University and spent a previous semester studying Sustainability in Copenhagen, Denmark. These experiences home and abroad inspired her to take a closer look at her personal impact on the environment and ways to lessen it.
