Happy Monday, readers!

It’s going to be a HOT week in Philly, but luckily we have a lot to look forward to on Thirsty Thursday from neighborhood tours to rooftop pop ups. Keep the fun going through Sunday.

Week Events August 17 – 20, 2015:

• East Passyunk Neighborhood Tour: Love the food, love the beer, but ever wonder how East Passyunk got to be so cool? Join us for a tour led by Renee Gillinger from the East Passyunk Avenue Business Improvement District who will show us behind closed doors as we visit business owners and learn more about the history of the neighborhood during their weekly Passeggiata. Wednesday at 5:30; 11th & Tasker Philadelphia, $10; Tickets.
• Dîner En Sweatpants:Avoid that Dîner FOMO or just enjoy your no-pressure dîner al fresco. Whatever your reasons, we want to see you there for food and great company. Bring a blanket (any color), bring dinner (pizza? cheesesteak?) and something to drink and enjoy a lovely, affordable, and casual evening with Ticketleap on the water. Thursday, August 20th from 5:30 – 8 PM;THE Schulykill Banks, On the grass between Walnut and Locust Streets, Philadelphia, PA 19103; FREE; Register.
• Moth Night: Nature Nights at the Woodlands: Bring a picnic, blanket, and a flashlight for a rare chance to spend the evening in the Cemetery after dark and see the moths fly! Dig deeper, and get creative to learn other ways that moths are cool, and make a craft with the University City Arts League you can take home! Sweet treats from our friends at Lil’ Pop Shop will be available for sale throughout the evening, too! Thursday, August 20th at 7 – 10 PM; 4000 Woodland Avenue; Find out more info. 
• Urban Geek Drinks on the Roof at Bok: A monthly happy hour for a diverse group of civic do-gooders in Philadelphia. Enjoy drinks on the roof at Bok Technical High School in South Philly. Thursday, August 20th from 6-8 PM; 1901 S 9th St, Facebook RSVP.  

Weekend Events August 21 – 23:

• Full Moon Bike Ride: Howl at the moon and ride your bike throughout Philly during the Full Moon Bike ride. Friday, August 21st at 8 PM; Philadelphia Museum of Art; FB invite. 
• Food & Flick Fridays: Back to the Future Part II: Join Marty McFly and Doc Brown impersonators for a night of crazy time travel antics at The Oval! Great food trucks on site, an 80’s band, the beer garden and a photo opportunity with a DeLorean before they screen “Back to the Future Part II. Friday, 5 PM; RSVP.
• Explore the Woods and Andorra Meadow with Kimberly Quinn: Learn about the former Andorra Nursery and visit the Wissahickon Environmental Center– The Tree House. See “The Great Beech” and “Fallen Magnolia”!  Level – Moderate.  Wear good sneakers or hiking boots. Sunday, August 23rd at 10 AM; Cedars House (200 Northwestern Ave); Meetup RSVP.
