Weekend Events for November 21 – 23, 2014:

• Repair Fair: Do you have broken stuff around the house? The Philly Fixers Guild is hosting a repair fair where you can bring in your broken flea market find or clothing and walk away with it as good-as-new. Fishtown’s Shissler Rec Center, 1800 Blair St., Philadelphia,  Saturday, November 22, noon – 4 PM; website.
• Young Involved Philadelphia’s (YIP) LOVEFest: YIP is closing out it’s State of Young Philly calendar with a bash. Get a little dressed up, enjoy an open bar  and delicious spread of local breads, cheeses, hummus and tapas, great DJ, photobooth, and company of other YIPsters. Saturday, November 22nd from 7:30-9:30 PM, Impact Hub,1227 N. 4th Street, $50, Tickets.
• Farm to Table Cupcakes Workshop: Join Greensgrow to learn how to creatively transform local produce into Thanksgiving inspired mini cupcakes perfect for holiday entertaining. Saturday, November 22nd from 12-2 PM, Greensgrow Community Kitchen at St. Michael’s Lutheran Church,2139 East Cumberland Street, Philadelphia, PA, 19125, $35, Registration required. 
• Philadelphia Marathon: Cheer on runners as they complete a 26.2 mile course around Philadelphia, out to Manayunk and back. The Waste Watchers will be helping you compost, recycling & throw away your trash.
