Hope you’re getting into the holiday festive spirit like SEPTA trolleys and trains.

ICYMI this week, PlanPhilly informed that City Council ended their Fall with new bus shelters and Philadelphia Land Bank plan. And the City Hall Parking Lot may be donezo, too! Or Generocity informed us that you can grab a piece of pizza pizza (my fav!) and help those in need, too.

Weekend Events December 12 – 14, 2014:

• Rudolph Run:  Join Philadelphia Runner for a FREE holiday-themed group run through Manayunk. You can wear costumes or ugly sweaters, or grab a red nose they’ll be handing out. Plus, you can bring your dog or stroller. Saturday, December 13th @ 9 a.m., Meet at Canal View Park (at Main and Gay streets) in Manayunk
• Greensgrow Holiday Bazaar: If you missed your chance last week, you can hop on another chance for a unique, local gift. Peruse handmade gifts like fine art and crafts; jewelry, ceramics, wood working, accessories, green gifts from talented crafters and artists at the Greensgrow Holiday Bazaar this weekend!  2501 E Cumberland St, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania 19125, Saturday, December 13th from 10–4, Sunday, December 14th from 11–4; Greensgrow website. 
• South Philly Handmade Brigade:  Greensgrow too far? Shop handmade items for great local artists & designers including- ceramics, jewelry, bath & body products, accessories, home goods and more. You can also get your photo taken at “Portraits on the Moon” “photobooth” by professional photographer Jessica Kourkounis. • Winterfest: Celebrate winter at this star-themed festival in partnership with The Philadelphia School.  Create star ornaments and crafts, take a twilight walk, a live animal show, finishing with a bonfire and s’mores. Saturday, December 13  from 3:00 – 8:00 pm, $7, Schuylkill Center, 8480 Hagy’s Mill Road,Philadelphia, PA 19128, website.
