Weekend Events for October 3-5, 2014:

• Can It! Join local canning expert Marisa McClellan to demo her favorite recipes for small-batch preserving. Friday, October 3, 5-8 PM, free, Chemical Heritage Foundation, 315 Chestnut St, Phila PA. Website.
• Delaware Valley Orienteering Association (DOVA) will meet at 11am, rain or shine, for an education adventure throughout the woods of the Schuylkill Center for Environmental Education. Clinics vary from complete beginner to advanced, but all are welcome to join in on the fun! • South Street Magic Theatre, Philadelphia’s only full time Magic Shop and Theatre, will feature a variety of local performers for a majestic night at the theatre. • Canine Partners for Life invites you to join in on their 25^th birthday celebration from noon to 3pm! Watch the service dogs go through their demos, tour the kennels, and take some time to get to know the service-dogs-in-training.
