Happy (sorta) Autumn! We’re psyched for the changing leaves but are still enjoying the short-sleeved transitional weather.

Did you join 310,000 of your closest green friends in Manhattan yesterday? In case you missed it, Grist has a collection of great photos from yesterday’s People’s Climate March.

Friday’s Park(ing) Day brought out Philly fav’s to relax outside and envision more green space in our urban landscapes.

So what can we get excited about for this week? We rounded up this week’s best events for you.

Weekly Events for September 22 – 26, 2014:

  • Women Bike PHL Coffee Club meets at Grindcore House Wednesday morning at 8 AM to celebrate, rant, support and share biking thoughts while caffeinating. Wednesday, Sept 24, 8- 9 AM, 1515 S 4th St, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania 19147, RSVP.
  • Ecycle Collection at Whole Foods: Recycle your used, broken and hard-to-recycle electronics including monitors, TVs, computers or anything with a plug. They can’t accept refrigerators, household (A/AA/etc) batteries and microwave ovens. Whole Foods Callowholl, 2001 Pennsylvania Ave, Phila, PA; Thursday, Sept 25 1-5 PM.
  • New Love Park Drink & Draw: Join the Urban Geeks happy hours with PennPraxis to brainstorm ideas for the new Love Park redesign. Have a beer at Frankford Hall, draw a sketch with the Crayola 96-packs they’ll have on hand and join planners, designers, writers and activists. 1210 Frankford Ave, Phila PA, Thursday 6-9 PM; RSVP on Facebook.
  • What’s For Dinner? Farm to Table Event: Camphill Village Kimberton Hills is hosting a farm-to-table fundraising event on Friday at 6 PM. The non-profit practices the sustainable farming it preaches on its 432 acre farm in Chester County. Enjoy local and organic foods, hors d’oeuvres, beer, wine and apple cider followed by dinner as you hear from growers and producers to learn more about the foods served that evening, including everything from pork to produce. Menu includes items from Kimberton Hills Dairy, Sankanac CSA, Seven Stars Farm, Victory Brewing Company and more.  Tickets $125 – $250/person; Friday, September 26th, 6 PM.
