Happy New Year!

As I stated on MNN, one of my new years resolution is to help pass Philadelphia reduce plastic bags. It’s easy: we want common sense legislation to encourage reusable bags and discourage single bag use.

How can you help and get involved to reduce plastic bags?

• Like our Plastic Bag Reduction Facebook Page we created to inform the community of upcoming events (like Happy Hours) and meetings and essential updates. So go ahead, like it!
• Please forward the petition to your friends and family. We’re going to continue to gather signatures, both online and off.
• If you can help during in-person events (or even for 10 minutes), please email greenphillyblog@gmail.com to get on our volunteer list.
