A reason to celebrate!

The Schuylkill Banks section that’s been under construction (i.e., South St to Christian St) is finally OPEN for use!

Although the trail is open, make sure to stay on the path. The plants and grasses need time to establish themselves in their new home.

According to the Schuylkill Banks 5 year strategic plan, the next segment to tackle will be Christian to Crescent Connection and Bartrams Garden, a link between Center City and the Grays Ferry Crescent for pedestrians and bicyclists.

According to the Facebook buzz, the Christian trail entrance from CHOP is open too:
