How to save money biking with Indego & Capital One

This is a sponsored post written by me on behalf of Capital One. All opinions are 100% mine – and for the record, I really do love Indego.

Are you psyched that Indego broke records this past Papal weekend? Whether you’ve been a fan of Indego since launch or got on the bandwagon this weekend, we’ve got more good news for you bike share lovers.

You can ride Indego & save a few bucks, too! Capital One is teaming up with Indego to become the official banking sponsor for our city of Philadelphia’s bike share program.

Capital One - Indego partnership

How to Save on Indego with Capital One

Easy banking, easy biking. Capital One is offering its customers $5 off of their first month’s Indego membership when using a Capital One 360 Checking debit card. (Sweet deal, right?)

Here’s how to sign up:

    • Head over to rideindego.com. Click the “Become a Member” button and choose “Indego30” membership.
    • Enter those Capital One debit card’s digits. Specifically, the first 6 digits will serve as your magic promo code.
    • Get over to an Indego station, hop on a bike & enjoy $5 off your first month’s membership!

Easy peasy, right?

If you’re not a Capital One member, don’t panic. You can head on over & sign up online at CapitalOne.com or by visiting the Capital One Rittenhouse Café – right at 1636 Walnut Street. Plus, flash your Indego key at the Café and save 50% off any handcrafted Peet’s beverage through October 29.

Ditch those banking fees by opening up a fee-free banking with 360 Checking by Capital One and access a free nationwide ATM network – with over 200 ATMs around Philadelphia. I can vouch for how easy their online banking is – I’ve been a customer for years. (Plus, electronic banking is lazy banking… making your life easier.)

So what does it mean that Capital One is partnering with Indego?

Capital One psyched to get involved in Philly, and has partnered with Indego to sponsor 10 bike share stations around the city:

      • 9th & Arch Sts
      • 19th & Lombard Sts
      • Girard & Leopard Sts
      • 38th & Lancaster Sts
      • 10th & Reed Sts
      • 17th & Girard Sts
      • 6th & Fairmount Sts
      • 21st & Catherine Sts
      • Broad & Federal Sts
      • 24th & Sansom Sts

Readers, are you loving life as an Indego member? Tell us in the comments.
