<span style="text-decoration:underline;"><a href="http://wip.warnerbros.com/11thhour/mainsite/site.html" target="_blank">The Eleventh Hour</a></span>, narrated by Leonard DiCaprio, gives a gripping view on the current climate crisis, packed with expert opinions ranging from <strong><em>Stephan </em></strong>Hawking to NASA, NRDC, James Woolsey and many more activists. The film analyzes the evolution of global warming, citing the impact from humans - our population evolving at rapid speeds, consuming massive resources, money driven societies, and culture. If we keep going at this current rate, we may lose 1/3 - 1/2 species in the world since 50-55,000 species become extinct each year. While many have the brain power to solve this problem, it's been greatly delayed...<div class="addthis_toolbox addthis_default_style addthis_" addthis:url='http://www.greenphillyblog.com/2009/03/13/looking-for-a-good-scare-on-friday-the-13th/' addthis:title='Looking for a good Friday the 13th scare? Baby, it's getting cold outside, and people are making vacation plans to get away &#38; feel some relief from those wintertime blues.

Planning a trip in the near future? Unfortunately, climate change is placing many travel hot

spots in danger. Here's some travel destinations that could be affected:
<ul>
	<li><strong>Venice, Italy</strong> - Just last year, the United Nations cultural organization UNESCO cautioned that Venice is in danger from rising sea levels, resulting from climate change. Last week, over 5 feet of water flooded the underwater city. Additionally, salt water is eating away at the buildings. To combat these problems, the city is building a gate system, a project nicknamed "Moses" to be completed by 2011.</li><div class="addthis_toolbox addthis_default_style addthis_" addthis:url='http://www.greenphillyblog.com/2008/12/11/could-climate-change-affect-your-travel-plans/' addthis:title='Could Climate Change Affect Your Travel plans? I am definitely one of them.

Like many, I've never seen a Philadelphia team win a championship. Luckily, I didn't pay much attention when I was younger. But as I've grown older, I've had my heart broken during playoffs and championship series for the Eagles, Flyers, Sixers, and Phillies. I watched the 2005 SuperBowl in a London flat, with a TV we purchased from a pawn shop for a mere 24 hours, wearing my pink eagles hat and hoping the Eagles would break the Wiliam Penn Curse. But Billy Penn was still pissed and wouldn't let us taste victory yet. Last year, I caught onto the Phillies Phever when we made the playoffs. But, we came up short yet again.<div class="addthis_toolbox addthis_default_style addthis_" addthis:url='http://www.greenphillyblog.com/2008/10/28/phillies-phever/' addthis:title='Phillies Phever!
