Citizens Bank Park Tops PETA's Vegetarian-Friendly List

imagesAnother win for the Phillies boys and girls: Citizens Bank Park is #1 on PETA’s Top 10 vegetarian friendly ball parks. Our home stadium was the first ballpark to offer veggie fare (and recently added more choices) on TOP of being one of the most green stadiums with their Red Goes Green Campaign.

The Phillies stadium serves tasty veggie options like:

World Series Win Culminates with Friday's Parade

2 Million people (including me) ditched work or school Friday to celebrate the Phillies World Series win with a parade through our city of brotherly love. (Also explaining our lack of posts last week…)

This Phillies win did indeed bring out the love in Philadelphia. I was lucky enough to go to Game 5 (parts 1 and 2) – the winning game of the series. Phillies Playoff Fever – Red Goes Green, Philadelphia!

The Phillies-Dodgers NLDS playoff series is heating up! With plays like a game-tying two-run homerun from Victorino & Stairs’ two-run hit in last night’s game 4 – we Philadelphians are on the edge of our seats one game away from our 1st shot at the World Series since 1993.

As we root on the Fightin’ Phils, it also makes sense to acknowledge our beloved Philadelphia’s team enviro-efforts with their ‘Red Goes Green‘ campaign.
