How long have you been reading Green Philly? Since 2016!

What’s your Fun Fact? My first ever job was scooping ice cream at the local/organic pioneer OWowCow creamery in Wrightstown.

How did you become interested in sustainability?

I started asking questions about where things come from & where they go when we’re through with them.

What is one thing that you think Philadelphia should do to become a more sustainable city?

Compulsory compost & investment in creating a circular economy.

How do you bring sustainability and environmental awareness into your daily routine or the people around you?

Bring them to GPB events 🙂 and talk about all of the rad technologies, initiatives, & people out there working towards solving our collective problem.

What’s one recommendation you’d make to other readers to live a more sustainable lifestyle?

Plan & create systems that fit into your lifestyle. Set your life up so that the easy microdecision is low waste/low impact more often than not.

To learn about the incredible folks & organizations working to make this planet a habitable one for the long term.
